A Wedding Day to Remember in Los Cabos
Some wedding days stay with you long after the last photograph has been taken. Anna and Jordan’s wedding at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos was one of those beautiful celebrations where every part of the day became an opportunity to capture something meaningful. On March 7, 2026, they gathered with their loved ones to celebrate their marriage in one of the most beautiful destinations in Baja California Sur.
As a wedding photographer, I always look for more than beautiful portraits. I want to document the emotions, the little interactions, and the moments that make each wedding unique. From the anticipation of getting ready to the energy of the reception, Anna and Jordan’s wedding gave me the opportunity to tell their story through photographs.
The Anticipation Before the Ceremony
The wedding day began with the preparations, when the excitement of the celebration was building. Getting ready is one of my favorite parts of documenting a wedding because it captures a different kind of emotion: the anticipation, the final details, and the realization that a long-awaited moment is finally here.
These quieter moments become an important part of the story. Years from now, photographs from the beginning of the day will bring the couple back to how everything felt before they walked down the aisle.
The First Look: A Moment Just for Them
Before the ceremony, the first look offered Anna and Jordan an opportunity to see each other and share a special moment before the celebration continued.
I love photographing first looks because they allow couples to pause and focus on each other. Away from the excitement of the larger celebration, there is room for genuine reactions, affectionate embraces, and those spontaneous expressions that are impossible to recreate.
These photographs preserve the anticipation and excitement of seeing each other on such an important day.
Saying “I Do” at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos
The ceremony was the heart of Anna and Jordan’s wedding day. Surrounded by the people who came to celebrate with them, they exchanged vows and officially began a new chapter together. A wedding ceremony is full of moments that happen only once: the expressions of the couple, the reactions of their loved ones, and the first kiss as newlyweds. My goal is always to capture these moments naturally while preserving the atmosphere and emotion of the occasion. Beyond the main events, I also pay attention to the people watching from the audience. Sometimes, a smile, a proud look, or an emotional reaction from a family member tells just as much of the story as the photographs of the couple themselves.
Romantic Wedding Portraits
After the ceremony, it was time to create portraits of Anna and Jordan together.
Couple portraits are an essential part of a wedding gallery, but I believe they should feel like an extension of the couple's connection rather than a series of poses. I guide couples when needed, helping them feel comfortable in front of the camera while leaving room for natural movement and genuine affection.
The result is a collection of photographs that celebrates not only how they looked on their wedding day, but also the connection they share.
For me, the best portraits are the ones that allow couples to look back and recognize themselves: the way they laugh together, the way they hold each other, and the little details that make their relationship their own.
Family, Friends, and the People Who Matter Most
A wedding is also a gathering of people who have played an important role in a couple’s journey. Family portraits and photographs with friends preserve the relationships that make the celebration so meaningful.
These photographs may seem simple at first, but their value grows with time. They preserve the people who were there, the generations who came together, and the happiness of sharing such an important milestone.
As a photographer, I want every wedding gallery to include both the beautiful highlights and these meaningful connections, creating a complete visual record of the day.
An Evening of Celebration
As the day transitioned into the reception, the atmosphere shifted from anticipation and emotion to celebration.
The reception and party are often where couples and their guests can fully relax and enjoy the moment. The formalities give way to laughter, dancing, spontaneous interactions, and the excitement of celebrating with everyone they love.
These moments are an important part of the wedding story because they show the celebration as it truly unfolded. Alongside the portraits and ceremony photographs, they bring movement, personality, and energy to the final gallery.
I always enjoy documenting this part of the day because some of the most memorable photographs happen when nobody is thinking about the camera.
Telling Anna and Jordan’s Story Through Photography
Every wedding is different, and that is one of the reasons I love what I do. Each couple brings their own personalities, relationships, and emotions to the day, and my responsibility is to preserve those details in a way that feels authentic to them.
Photographing Anna and Jordan’s wedding at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos was an opportunity to document a meaningful milestone in their lives, from the anticipation of getting ready to the celebration with their family and friends.
My approach to wedding photography is centered on genuine connection, elegant imagery, and thoughtful direction when needed. I want couples to enjoy their day without feeling that they have to perform for the camera. The photographs should reflect the experience they actually lived.
An unforgettable wedding day in Los Cabos, filled with meaningful moments, joyful celebrations, and memories to last a lifetime.
