The Proposal of Rocío and Ulises

Some stories are born under the warm sun of Huatulco and end up becoming memories that last a lifetime. The marriage proposal of Rocío and Ulises, a couple from Monterrey who traveled to the coast for a relaxing vacation, was one of those moments that feel magical from the very beginning.

Ulises had been planning this for weeks. He wanted something intimate, romantic, and meaningful, so he put together a picnic-style setup on the beach, with soft décor, a bottle of wine, and the perfect sunset to witness the moment. He was visibly nervous, and rightfully so, but part of my job is to guide him, give him the right instructions, and help everything flow naturally so that when the big moment arrives, he’s ready… and we can capture beautiful, heartfelt photos.

And the outcome couldn’t have been more perfect. When Ulises got down on one knee and revealed the ring Rocío burst into tears. His hands trembled, her smile glowed through her tears… and her answer was a heartfelt “Yes!” that echoed even between the sound of the waves.

This moment wouldn’t have been the same without the wonderful collaboration with @momentosmonos, who created a beautiful, carefully decorated setup right on the beach.

It was a perfect, genuine, love-filled moment. A story they’ll remember forever… and one that now lives through these photographs.
